The PLANET WGS-818HP is an innovative, industrial 8-port Gigabit Ethernet switch with 8-port 802.3at Power over Ethernet Plus injector. It is particularly characterized by its high performance and reliability. With a total of 8 LAN ports, a robust design, PoE functionality and excellent transmission rates, it is a valuable part of any modern network. It is additionally non-administrative, which means that it is ready to use right after connection, i.e. plug and play, without any complicated configuration.
PoE functionality and transmission rate
A special feature of the WGS-818HP is its support for the PoE+ (30W) standard. This allows both data and power to be transmitted over the same network cable, simplifying cabling and increasing flexibility. At the same time, it has a PoE budget of 60/120 watts in total. In addition to its PoE functionality, the WGS-818HP also offers excellent transfer rates of 10 Mbps, 100 Mbps, and up to 1 Gbps to ensure your network is always running at optimal speed.
Rugged design and mounting options
The WGS-818HP is designed to operate in a temperature range of -20°C to +60°C and features a rugged metal housing. In addition, it is equipped with an IP30 protection rating, which allows it to operate reliably even under severe conditions. The WGS-818HP can be mounted on a DIN rail, magnetically or on the wall, which gives you maximum installation flexibility.
